The Mariner's Compass is one of the traditional quilting techniques Danit's quilting studio has to offer. The choice of fabrics can create a 3D effect.
This is a fun and easy, paper piecing based technique with varied and dramatic results, that can be used as a center piece for an art quilt, or a smaller element in a larger blanket quilt.
